Went to dinner tonight at Fhima's on a recommendation from my brother. I had the "Halibut Catalan-with a berry relish and a cayenne potato fondue", and husband had paella. He tried my food and called it "heaven on a plate". I would've never guessed that berries with cheesy mashed potatoes and fish could taste so good together. Paella was very good, also. We had requested no onions in paella (husband has "slight" allergy), and halfway through discovered that there were quite a few in the dish. Casually mentioned it to server. (We had discussed it with here before ordering, she talked to the chef, and it was to be no problem). The manager came over and apologized, chef brought us a gift certificate, and we were surprised with a complimentary creme brulee. We expected nothing...it really wasn't a big deal...and they went well above and beyond. Tied for first with Cosmos for our favorite restaurant so far in Minneapolis/St. Paul.
