Movie Night - The Shining

leanneabe | Jul 29, 200808:43 PM     2

I'm just rolling the dice here, guessing where this thread belongs... Movie night is coming up where we've been picking movies and someone makes dinner to go along with it. We've done Tampopo and ramen (of course); The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly (with spaghetti - you know, for the spaghetti Western), Smokey & the Bandit (trucker chili & cornbread with Coors), etc.

The Shining is next on the list and we thought it would be fun to cook something they were eating in the movie. But we can't think of any particular meal or food.

So: Can you remember a memorable meal from the movie? Red rum doesn't count. =)

Barring that, what's a good menu to put together for this?
