We're considering whether to move to Sacramento from the Bay Area, and we really want to get to know Sacramento's food and neighborhoods to give us a taste of what living there might be like.
We'll be staying at the Sheraton downtown but don't particularly want to eat in that area or Old Sac. More interested in places with great food, -- hip, small neighborhood places being our favorites. Most ideal would be a place w/great food and in a somewhat walkable, charming street where we could meander before or after dinner.
Looking for recos for one dinner and one breakfast/brunch spot.
From previous posts, I've noted the following places -- can you give your opinions about which would provide the best overall experience?
- Tres Hermanas
- Others we should consider?
- 33rd St. Bistro
- Lucky Cafe
(PS, I've also saved the list of taquerias that nja put together -- we'll try to drop in on one of them if we have room!)
