There's a new place opening up in Mount Vernon. Although I am not excited by another MicroBrew Pub (I don't even like the taste of all these "hip" new beers), it does seem like one of the more significant openings in MTV in a long time (unfortunately it is replacing Galitos which was decent). The Web page is not informative at all when it comes to a food menu, but perhaps that will be a saving grace.

I would like to see adventurous ethnic cuisine come to Mount Vernon (but not fusion concept eateries that cost an arm and a leg or, cupcakes). Dunno, this seems like the type of place that is hoping to cash in on those hordes of Millennials the powers that be seem to be hoping to attract. A slightly bohemian hip vibe that does not displace everything that is there would be great, but trustafarians not so much. (I would rather see more like the new Mexican place at the corner of 5th and Sidney)
