Mount Pepper - Real Deal Sichuan in Lancaster PA

ahab | Feb 21, 201606:34 PM     3

Lancaster, PA finally has a real Chinese restaurant! The former chef from Ping Pong R&Z in Wayne, PA has relocated to Lancaster and is serving many of the same dishes that made Ping Pong a must stop for us on our trips to Trader Joe's in Wayne. Trying to find good, authentic Chinese in Lancaster has been frustrating to say the least. After reading some good reviews on Yelp, we decided to give it a try. My heart jumped when we recognized a waiter from Ping Pong running the front of the restaurant. When he told us the chef came along, I swear I wanted to get up and hug him. The dry pot lamb was great --fiery, oily and fresh. My neck got sore from watching dishes go by to other tables. Nice to see the room full. Hopefully that continues. If you like Sichuan, please go soon and often. I really want to see this place succeed. I think it automatically jumps into our top five restaurants in the Lancaster area.
