I can't decide which is the winner as they really distinct from each other. I had the shio extra bbq pork ramen, no extras. I found that the cleaner chicken based broth was a nice contrast from the fatty pork belly, making it more pronouncedly porky and fatty. Sometimes at the bottom of my tonkotsu ramen, which I love, I feel rather over-porked, so this was perfect with the meat being a standout. The shio is quite salty, as it should be. And while this may sound crazy, I enjoy the feather-light strips of scallion here vs the standard chop. Anyone try the new spicy miso flavor?
