hey all - I tried Morton's in White Plains on Friday (it had opened the day before) and found it to be excellent. The restaurant was half empty but I expect that is because no one knew it was open yet. The service was pretty good and the food was excellent.
They have the same menu as the rest of the Morton's restaurants and the quality is just as good. I had the chopped salad which was good, steak (fabulous) and the Godiva chocolate cake - which was WELL worth the calories!
DH had the lobster bisque which he was was good and the shrimp - which were huge and tasty. The couple we went with also enjoyed their meal (salad, steak and scrod).
The one disapointment was the chocolate soufle which was bland at best. The other thing to be aware of is the "valet" parking which costs $10 (this on top of the parking garage charges) - I'd suggest parking on your own as the valet is on the top floor while Morton's is on the ground floor.
