It;s not the first time I;ve been here, but it is the first time I went down to the lounge. The restaurant is a beautiful place with a super modern look. The sushi isn't the best, I don't think they have a Japanese sushi chef there, I did have the jalapeno buri and it was decent, a little too much sauce on it, taking away the great taste of good buri. The Oysters w/ foie gras and uni heated up with a teriyaki sauce is horrible. The bay scallops ( which are at the end of their season) were amazing and served over veggies. The lobster fritters were hollow looking fried golf balls ( not even Titlelists maybe Pinnacle), The tuna pizza should be called tuna matzoh because that;s what it was served on. The spicy salmon roll was ummm a spicy salmon roll and OK, afterall how good could a spicy salmon roll be? The eel and avo roll was bad. The eel ( unagi) had a bad taste. I don't usually order rolls like that , but it is that kind of place. The sake was great, and they had a good selection. The bill was high, $500 for 2 (inc. tip). The service was pleasant and excellent. Lots of :"beautiful people" to see. Lots of tourists as well.I like the glass bottle wall, I bet they spent a lot designing that restaurant.
