Mood - Modern American Cuisine - Kew Gardens

I actually wanted to post a review about this place a while ago. I have been there twice now. Once for Valentine's day and a month ago on a date. Before actually going I had passed by Mood, a million times wondering if the place was any good. Guess what? IT IS. Try the filet mignon. Its soft and tasty, well prepared. The halibut is another great choice. By the way this place has a great modern feel. Great for young professionals or a fine diners. And to be honest the prices are fair for the quality. Every dish is well prepared and decorated. I dont have a sweet tooth but the deserts are incredible. I've tried a choclate cake/mouse. Crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. It melts in your mouth. The apple pie is great with a sophiscated taste and presentation. Ok enough. I highly recommend it. I hope more of these types of restaurants open in Queens, especially in this area. We need it.
