Just looking for a nice place, great food, Montreal or West Island, etc. that hasn't been reno'd yet and lost all its character... modern has its place, just not today... looking for somewhere to get together with my adult children to discuss important family matters, so neither too conspicuous, nor overly loud that we have to yell across the table... for example, I used to enjoy the atmosphere at Brandy's till they ruined it and I find Old Montreal is fast becoming New Montreal... I've been looking around this morning and looks like we might just end up at Scarolie's, or, if someone could recommend something on the rustic side either in the city or Ste. Anne's, Pointe Claire village etc. I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
