Montreal, 48 hours. Best Solo Dinner Spot?

borisabrams | Nov 11, 201907:48 PM     16

Hi,

I am going to be in Montreal this weekend and will be dining alone on the weekend. What are some good restaurants that i could get a seat at a bar and people watch? Ideally I want something Canadian/French (Haitian works too). I am not too fussed about price point. I realllyyyy dont want tourist-y though. I want to eat somewhere locals eat.

On that note, is Joe Beef worth it for eating alone? Or perhaps Mon Lapin?

I do want to try blood sausage and game, as this is not so common in NYC.

Thanks a lot!

B

Joe Beef
