Growing up, my mom made monkey bread with butterscotch pudding mix. I haven't cooked with convenience packaged foods in eons. How do I make it taste as good as I REMEMBER it tasting instead of tasting like it ACTUALLY tasted? I.E. Any ideas to how I get the sticky butterscotch flavor without using a box mix? I love made from scratch butterscotch pudding, but dipping the bread pieces in pudding and baking it would horrible idea right?
