Mon Kiang re-invents itself (but still Hakka?)

Gary Soup | Nov 14, 2004 07:50 PM

Mon Kiang, the Evil Twin of Ton Kiang (if not the other way around), was closed for a few weeks for renovation and has now re-emerged as a takeout dim sum joint cum charcuterie with limited table service, hanging bbq duck in the window and all. It looks like a mix of standard Chinatown Cantonese with some less familiar offerings, including what appeared to be oyster pancakes. The signage is all in Chinese, so hopefully someone more bi-lingual than I will check it out.
