Mom's Barbecue Review

Mike | Mar 11, 2006 11:00 PM

Well, from learning about this spot on the board I decided to eat there tonight-Saturday evening. I arrive around 5:30 and they were doing good business, very friendly owners and the prices were inexpensive. Now since they are closed Sunday I ordered the friend chicken to go for tomorrow's dinner. Tonight I had the beef ribs and pork ribs, to bad no baby backs or St. Louis cut ribs. I ordered 2 sides: greens & potatoe salad which were both very tasty. Now the pork ribs were good yet not the best, I did enjoy the sauce too. The beef ribs are always just to big without not much meet. It was a decent spot yet since I live in Sherman Oaks I still prefer UNCLE ANDRE'S, I know theres so debate on that one yet I'm always satisfied there. I would go back for the chicken livers since I have to drive to Roscoe's for those.

Any comments?

Mike
