Mom's Artichoke Hummus -- Packaged Panacea?

bernardo | Apr 21, 2007 12:46 PM

Last time we debated the packaged hummus conundrum some folks were stuck on smooth & creamy, others on chunky and with texture. And then there were those that ragged on product with preservatives.

OK, so how about Mom's products made in Orange & sold at Certified Farmer's Markets in LB & OC & maybe beyond? While purists might choke on the thought, how about Mom's artichoke hummus -- smooth, creamy and flavorful, with a modicum of texture from chunks of artichoke, and preservative-free too.

BTW, the tabouli, couscous and tapenade aren't too shabby either. Everything glistening fresh and reasonbly priced, eat well for days for a few buckos. And no, I don't own stock in the company.
