The Mole Tater Tots at Amor Y Tacos may be one of the most crave-worthy things I've eaten in a while.
Mole sauce, queso fresco, onions, sour cream (and something else I'm forgetting) all ladled generously over a bed of crunchy, hot tater tots. It's smoky, a bit bitter in a good way, and with a good wallop of salty, sweet, and sour as you work-through each mouthful.
I'd imagine this is what mother's all over Oaxaca must've fed their children if they were able to buy bags of Ore-Ida.
In any event, good stuff. Actually, wonderful stuff. Just wonderful.
Oh, and their Doritos Chilaquiles aren't bad either, except it bordered on a bit too much like "college-frat boy drunk food". Not that that's a bad thing, per se, but sometimes you just want regular "college frat boy food".
