Moishe's 2nd Ave. Bakery

Markets & Stores 2

Moishe's 2nd Ave. Bakery

Last night I got Moishe's heavenly rugelach - which
I've been getting for over ten years, by the way. I
can somehow never go there without recalling the bags
they were using for short time there; most everyone
has been to a merchant who, for one reason or other,
uses bags that were overstocked from another vendor.
Well, Moishe's used bags for a while that must have
come from a hardware store, because on them was an ad
for "Worm Bedding". This has always slightly tarnished
my experience of eating pastries from Moishe's.

Didn't Moishe's also have a Grand Street counterpart?
They seem to have closed; does anyone have any idea if
they moved - or even if they were affiliated with the
2nd Avenue one?
