Noodle 36 used to be on 36th Street btw 8th and 9th. They had a plain rice noodle dish with the most amazing sauce I've ever had on noodles. A thick brown unctuous meaty sauce that clung to the noodles like it was in love. I think the dish may have been the cantonese/hong kong version of chee chong noodles, but I'm not sure.
I'd love to find out where the chef is working now, but also would be happy to play around with any recipes you all know of.
