Mission Bar and Grill, Brigham Circle

We went to the Mission Bar and Grill last night for a couple of burgers and some beers. The burgers were excellent; big hunks of char-broiled meat (angus, I believe) with crisp bacon and lots of cheese. And the fries were very good, too.

Mission has a terrific beer list. I saw about 15-20 beers I wanted to order, but being that it was a Wednesday night, I stuck with only two: Ipswich Ale and Ipswich Oatmeal Stout.

The restaurant has the same vibe as the Ashmont Grill in Dorchester; an upscale comfort food restaurant that avoids being too pretentious. It seemed that most of the people there were from the nearby Harvard Medical School and the nearby hospitals, so it was a pretty laid back crowd.

I saw a lot of other items on the menu that I want to try (as well as all the other beers I'm dying to have), so I'll definitely be going back soon.
