Today my son and I were up in the area taking care of some other business I remember a post by KK (? I remember tips sometime not who give it) about a discounted prices during "tea" time.
We had two orders of wonton noodles for 3 dollars a bowl
One order each of Salt and Pepper Tofu and Smelt with eggs at 3 dollars a order
One of fried Chicken wings at 2 dollars.
We had a very filling snack or a early dinner.
The only thing the lower price was te fried baby fish on the tofu otherwise it was the same dishes at the normal price setup.
I found the noodles not over cooked and had a little bite in texture.
Lots of other items at about half the normal price
I had a cup of very rich and full body coffer (not the normal weak stuff I fine at most Chinese places) and my son had a iced milk tea. Both were a buck each.
Nice to try, but I was not able to pick up the tea time menu. But from what I remember the rice rolls and congee at least six kinds were two dollars. Nothing over 3 dollars.
