As I eat my leftovers from yesterday's feast, I am reliving the disbelief of experiencing such amazing and brilliant food. The palak paneer, disorientingly fresh and complicated, laced with smokey red peppers; a lamb biryani, light, fluffy, with intoxicating aromas; tawa chicken (chicken tikka masala) that was more fresh and bright than any I have had. It seems every dish is made absolutely from scratch with the freshest ingredients. There really is just no comparison between this food and other Indian meals I have had. T he Jackson Diner is quite good, but the food at Mina's was something else altogether. I can't imagine that even Tamarind or any of the other haute indians (that I have never been to) can be this good.
