Far from being crowded, we were the only customers there on Sat night 7-8 pm. Perhaps there was something wrong in the kitchen or with the staff--everything was very chaotic. I know they cook everything from scratch (I've eaten there before), but the service bordered on the comic. The server seemed very unfamiliar with the menu (though nice), brought one dinner plate for 2 people, and seemed not to notice that we had no silverware when she brought the entree--we had to ask 3 times and sat there staring at our entrees for 3-4 mins. She was busy talking on a cell phone when she came to the table.
The samosa chat was wonderful. The tandoori grill consisted of 4 small cubes of chicken and beef, with grilled veggies--quite tasty but not a good value for $6.95.
I don't see how they can stay in business with this type of service in the dining room.
