Next week I plan to take a mildly kashrut observing nephew to Chinatown for dinner, either Taiwan Cafe or Peach Farm or both.
He does not eat shellfish, eel, or pork products, but does eat fish, tofu, chicken, sometimes beef/lamb, and of course vegetables.
I have yet to go to TC and on my one visit to PF the menu was heavily shell fish & eel rather than the kosher varieties, though I do remember seeing perhaps bass and flounder. However in the posts I have read, those don't get much respect from CHers. From what I have read of TC, it is heavily pork, shrimp, and other such delights.
I should add that his choices don't determine mine, but I want to be certain that he will find some choices for himself.
Can any of the cognoscenti on this forum give me some advice? Many thanks in advance.
