New mild habanero developed at Texas A&M

Today's New York Times website has an article about a new, mild variety of habanero chile. What do you think? If it tastes like regular habaneros, it could be a useful thing. They have such a great, fruity flavor. Apparently this thing has a little bit of fire to it, around 2300 Scoville units. Is it heresy--a mild habanero?
