On Saturday, we dropped into Mijita at the Ferry Building after shopping at the farmer's market. Neither of us had ever been there before, and we had heard good things from several people. We both thought it was overall bad--four dollars for a lukewarm and bland carne asada taco and a plain cold and awful carnitas taco seems like a ripoff. The fish taco was OK, but nothing special and I think only because it was hot. That said, we also ordered something like an empanada which was pretty good. Did I just get unlucky (and stupid for visiting on a market day) or is this typical?
