i would LOVE to know where i can get mieng kum in sf or on the penninsula -- i'll even go to north san jose if i have to. the only place i've had it in sf is at koh samui and the monkey -- very fresh ingredients but the problem is that they serve it pre-assembled, sort of defeating the purpose as far as i'm concerned (the best part of the dish is putting little morsels of things on the spinach leaf to one's taste/mood!) so if anyone has come across it on a menu recently, please let me know! i realize it's easy as anything to make at home, but i really enjoy the experience of having it out somewhere. thanks!
