Since there are no current threads on selecting a wall oven, I am hoping you can help me choose.
We're gutting our kitchen (after 25 years) and starting over. We talked to two different sales people regarding wall ovens. No one seems to say anything negative about either the Miele or Wolf. However, on line, no one seems pleased. If everyone hated the Wolf, why is it such a popular brand? Perhaps it's a case of high end perception--it looks great so this product ends up in high end kitchen, then it has issues down the road.
The Wolf series E in the past has had issues with the lining cracking. is this still true? I'm considering the 30".
There does not seem to be a correlation between paying more and getting more. I don't want to one of many disgruntled wall oven customers who whines about the high cost of repair a few years after installation. Or is this unavoidable with both of these products?
Currently I have 3 friends with 5-6 year old ovens which are not working, Viking, Thermador and Bosch. So I don't have much confidence selecting an oven which will last me indefinitely.
I will look forward to your advice.
