Midtown That Doesn't Suck

Paul Lukas | May 13, 2008 05:35 PM

Taking the 'rents to see 'Macbeth' at the Lyceum (45th between 6th/7th) on Weds. afternoon and would love a dinner option afterward that (a) isn't completely loathsome, and (b) isn't outrageously expensive.

There was a time when I could have answered this question at least half a dozen different ways, but I've just discovered that all the places I knew back then no longer exist. I'm a complete stranger to this part of town now.

The 'rents don't get around too well (broken hip, arthritis, that sort of thing), so we have to stay fairly close to the theater. Seafood, French, new American, bistro, Italian, pub -- all good. Asian, not so good.

Little help..?

Big thanks in advance,
Paul
