Not me until yesterday when I told a friend I had a craving for risotto without the will to stir and add broth and stir and add broth, etc.
She told me how she makes risotto in the microwave. I tried it tonight, found it a reasonable facsimile, and will be tweaking in the future.
-3:1 liquid to rice
-Microwave at lowest possible setting
-Cook an hour
-Add grated cheese and pepper at end
