Now I know that I should be making baked potatoes in the oven, but sometimes at lunch time I am lazy, and want one right away. I have tried making them in the microwave, but they come out horribly. The skin is always hard, or they don't cook evenly, and some parts are hard and others too mushy. Is there a foolproof way to get a decent, evenly cooked potato? I'm ready to toss my microwave out the window.
