The next time you go to your favorite dim sum place take home a bunch of steamed pork buns and freeze them. When you want to eat them, let them defrost, wrap them in a damp dishtowel, wrap that in saran and microwave for about 2 minutes and 15 seconds at 70%. They come out hot, steamy and delicious (if they were delicious to start with). I always use my microwave for melting or softening butter and making bacon, but now I found a new use for it. I only wished that I had had the right hot Chinese mustard but sadly I didn't.
