In October, Michelin Guide published its first dining foray into Westchester County. Long-time favorite Stone Barns at Pocantico Hills received two stars. In their 'Bib Gourmet' category, which highlights restaurants offering exceptional 3-course meals with a glass of wine in the $40 range, 8 local eateries made the cut:
Dubrovnik, New Rochelle
Maria's, New Rochelle
Café Alaia, Scarsdale
The Cookery, Dobbs Ferry
Eugene's Diner, Dobbs Ferry
The Southern Table, Pleasantville
So far, I have enjoyed recent experiences at Dubrovnik, Maria's, Eugene's Diner, and The Southern Table. My last visit to Stone Barnes was a few years ago, so I have nothing up to date to add, but it was quite extraordinary. Have you been to any of these restaurants? What's your call? Who did they leave out in the area?
