Mi Tierra, re-opened in Hadley

saintp | Dec 6, 201406:23 AM     5

Hello. We finally made it to the new Mi Tierra last night. Got there at about 5:30 and had to circle the lot several times to find parking! There was a twenty minute wait (for a party of 4), but one of the owners recognized us from the old place and got us seated in the bar area right away. That was really nice. We didn't get any of the entrees, but stuck to our standards: tacos for my husband and myself and burritos for the kids. The tacos were a bit different than they used to be, but excellent. I got the res (steak) tacos, which had a pico de gallo on them and my husband got the spicy pork, which had pico de gallo, radish, and pineapple. They were served on their heirloom corn tortillas (so good). Both tacos were flavorful, with the steak tender and nicely marinated. Loved them. The burritos were good, both girls got the steak, so very flavorful. Got a few margaritas as well, fresh and very tasty. Service was excellent. The prices went up about one dollar on most items....the tacos (3) were $8, you could get rice and beans on the side for $3 extra.
