Mi-cuit foie gras - searable?

I understand you're meant to always use foie gras cru when searing, but in a mix up with a friend, I was given mi-cuit, and not cru for a dinner I'm preparing. Before I switch up the menus to serve cold, is there any way to still serve it seared? I have searzall so can be quite surgical about the heat.
