MI CASA (296 E 17th St, Costa Mesa, CA 92627)
is a popular old school family restaurant. If you don't show up before 6, you will wait.
Once you do get to your table, the trip back into the 1970's begins....
The place is warmly lit , lots of christmas light type accents (in the shape of red peppers) hung all around.
The menu is straight up enchiladas, taco, burritos etc.. all served on warm oversized plate accompanied by a healthy side of rice and refried beans (with cheese).
If you are looking for groundbreaking, look elsewhere.
But,
If an evening rife with nostalgia & delicious, stick to your ribs chow warms your heart...this place is a must.
