Meyer lemons at Church Produce

janet A. Zimmerman | Feb 7, 200301:33 AM

I was at my neighborhood produce shop, Church Produce (on Church St at 30th) to pick up some lemons and limes. They've had great prices on citrus for the past couple of weeks, so I've been taking advantage of it. But today when I went in, not only were lemons 6 for $1, but mixed in with the usual Eurekas were quite a few Meyers -- same price. These guys are big too (I'm used to the tasty but small Meyers from my sister's tree). I don't know if they'll continue to have them, but it might be worth a try. Limes, by the way, are 10 for $1.
