Restaurants & Bars 2

Mexico City

Nation's Restaurant News has a column called "What's HOT In (name of City)". A couple of weeks ago the column featured Mexico City. They listed the following 5 restaruants as being "hot" destinations in D.F. 2 of the 5 have been well reviewed in this forum. I'm curious about the other three.

Aguila y Sol
42 Moliere in Polanco
Contemporary Mexican.
(This place has been well reviewed on this board)

L'Alsace
Masaryk 433 in Polanco
French-German cuisine

Izote
Ave. Presidente Masaryk 513 also in Polanco
Contemporary Mexican
(Also very well reviewed here on Chowhound)

Reforma 500
Paseo de la Reforma 500 in Colonia Juarez.
Indoor/Outdoor seating as well as private dining rooms
Contemporary Mediterranean

Solea
Campos Eliseos 252, Colonial not mentioned, though this property is owned by W Hotels
Seafood with Mexican accents (whatever that means)

Has anyone tried L'Alsace, Reforma 500 and Solea. Though I won't be getting back to Mexico City until October and November I'm interested in trying some new places. Are these worth it or not.
