Used to be Palacio Maya. I don't know if the management changed or just the name.
On a crowded Friday night it was pretty noisy and had several tables of kids who were having a good time and parents who forgot to use their indoor voices. Service was pretty quick considering the crowd.
Food was OK, a bit better than the predecessor, but not fabulous by any stretch. Rice was badly overcooked (you can't use a Japanese rice cooker in a Mexican restaurant?). Fish tacos were OK.
Some may like it. Disclaimer...I am not a big Mexican food eater. I love the flavors, but usually find the dishes to be gloppy, unattractive and badly cooked.
