Just want to share with the group a nice find in Harrison, NY.
Bistro & Wrap Deli
64 Halstead Ave
Harrison, NY 10528
They serve a large variety of wraps and sandwiches there. The only sandwich I've tried there is the philly cheese steak, made with thin slices of real steak, not shaved slices of beef. It's not authentic, but delicious.
But what I go there for is the Mexican food. You can get 3 tacos with rice and beans for $7. The tacos are wrapped in 2 small corn tortillas, not the hard shell ones. It reminds me of the tacos available at the food trucks in Sunnyside Queens. The menu only lists beef, chicken, and pork. I forgot to ask if they have tongue or other meats.
They also have enchiladas, burritos, etc. There is also a small steam table with Mexican specials of the day.
For some of you, this place may be more convenient than going to Port Chester, which also has its share of good Mexican restaurants.
