Metal chopsticks and Korean restaurants

I've eaten in a lot of Asian restaurants. Those which use chopsticks fall into (IME) two big groups: "Permanent" chopsticks, made of wood or plastic and meant to be used many times, and disposables, made of cheap wood, and used once.

The only place where I've seen metal chopsticks is in Korean restaurants. Any insights?
