Mesquite (DFW) Sushi - Kamikaze

bigtex99 | Sep 28, 200709:46 PM     2

Long time reader, first time poster.

I have noticed Sushi is a big topic here lately. I was wondering if anyone has tried Kamikaze in Mesquite, on restaurant row, across 635 from Town East Mall, between Hooters and Olive Garden.

I have been there a couple times both for lunch (bento box, excellent), and dinner, and found the place to be cool, decent, fresh, good prices, the type of sushi chef that will give you free stuff, etc. Everything tasted fresh and good to me, and I have had sushi in many places, although Mesquite has never been one of them.

Online reviews are pretty good overall, and I just wanted to post this place as I have never seen it mentioned before after I searched the posts. I hope its still in business, havent been there in a month or two, and everything else that has been in that building has gone out of business pretty fast. Kamikaze is a great name for it.
