Mesa Grill Lunch Review

Dad and I got here at 11:30 at were surprised to already see several tables seated. They start you off with a great breadbasket including yellow/blue corn muffins and an excellent cranberry bread. Shotrly after the bread, Bobby Flay walked through the restaurant, shook a few hands and took some pictures, pretty neat.

For an appetizer we split a lunch entree special of fish tacos. There were two small tacos with grilled halibut. Very tasty, but for $15 it should have been three tacos, especially if passing it for a lunch entree. I had the Mesa Burger, cooked perfectly medium with melted cheese on a great roll. This is absolutely my favorite burger and is WAY better than the average burger I had at Burger Bar. The fries are seasoned and were served hot and crisp, just perfect. Dad had a cheese stuffed chile releno that he went nuts for. I really wanted to also try the sweet potato and chicken hash, but I guess I'll have to save that for next trip. Total was about $50 before tip.

This was my third trip to Mesa Grill and I will return a fourth time. I feel that Mesa is a great value especially considering its location.
