I love Meritage and am thrilled it's not going anywhere, but the Kleins are apparently doing a bit of expansion.

The pair will open a second -- and third -- restaurant along with a wine bar and wine shop in the Soo Line building on Marquette Avenue and Fifth Street in downtown Minneapolis.
The first restaurant, Brasserie Zentral, will serve Central European specialties like schnitzel, Belgian frites and Hungarian foie gras. There also will be a vast selection of schnapps at the 150-seat restaurant, chef Russell Klein said.
He also has hired an "all-star" pastry chef, but he's not yet saying who.
Just what I need. More pastries! :)
