My sister and I just formed a Supper Club. The type where people come together to cook, share recipes, and eat dinner together. At our inaugural meeting and we settled on meeting once every other month, rotating houses and rotating courses. Our first supper club event will take place on February 27th and our menu will be pulled from the pages of Small Bites, Big Nights ( Table 8 in L.A.).
Our menu will include a variety of small plates such as burrata salad; skirt steak skewers; green garbanzo bean crostini; grilled endive; bbq quail; creamsicle cocktails; and for dessert, a krispy kreme bread pudding.
I started another thread asking for Chowhounders to share their experience with supper clubs, but the responses have been slow. Here is the link to the other thread:
Meatn3 suggested I start this thread asking for menu or recipe suggestions. My hope is that with the two threads going, the topic will take off!
