My wife is having 10 of her friends over for a party next week. She wants me to provide the food. I'm stumped with it being January and very little fresh produce here in Atlanta.
My requirements are:
1) Be able to cook ahead (night or two before) and have her warm up as I won't be around.
2) Light and easy to serve (not hor d'oerves, an entree and two or three veggies plus desert--maybe hor d'oerves, a soup and a reltively light entree)
I'm thinking of an acorn squash soup, Julia' potato leek soup or *maybe* french onion soup. Julia and Jacque's stuffed artichokes and tomatos look good as well.
I need a consistent entree to go with those (or other ideas). Some sort of crepe recipe could go with the p/l soup or the f/o soup...
All ideas are welcomed.
