I hadn't been to Mendocino Grill since they changed to a summer menu until last night.
In the appetizers, the house-made charcuterie and the "surf-and-turf" (carpaccio and ceviche), were both very good.
I had the soft-shells, and they were pretty good. A bit too salty. They came with mushrooms, greens, and orrechiete. The other half had the salmon, which came with a really nice light lemon cream sauce with salmon roe, asparagus, etc. I found myself wishing I'd had that, but I'd already switched wines on him.
They've changed the wine list recently, too.
