Melody's Mexican Restaurant/Tanta Tia's/Ur Stop

Noclue | Sep 9, 200502:34 AM

Went to Melody's on Reseda/Vanowen yesterday for lunch. Great mexican food in a casual setting. I had the bistek burrito with ranchero sauce and was impressed. Meat was charred purfectly, with grilled onions and covered with jack cheese. Nice. Lot's of cops lunching there, which is always a good sign. Now my quandry will be choosing between Carillo's and Melody's. The only weird thing is that CitySearch has them listed as:

Melody's Hamburgers & More
6747 Reseda Blvd
Reseda, CA 91335-5316
(818) 609-9062

I didn't even see the hamburgers on the menu.

On another note I recently passed by two interesting restaurants on Sepulveda and was wondering if anyone has tried them and could let me know if they were worth stopping.

1) U R Sub Stop
7755 Sepulveda Blvd
Van Nuys, CA 91405-1028
(818) 988-0882

This sandwich shop says it was voted #sub sandwich in LA or something.

2) Something like Tanta Tia's Home Cooking. Can't find the listing. Just looked interesting and different from other mexican restaurants.
