Help please! I'm trying to put together our NYE dinner and am turning up empty so far. Do you know where I could find: 1) a prime, dry aged porterhouse steak, and 2) veal bones for demiglace.
Peter Luger only sells two porterhouse steaks, which is too much meat for us. Bristol Farms only carries prime, dry aged NY strips and won't have any veal bones until early January.
I live in the Highland Park/South Pasadena area so any purveyors near that area would be great. But I'm willing to drive so all recommendations are welcomed - THANK YOU Chowhounds!
