Maxie's Grill--Good Spot

Had dinner at Maxie's last night with the bf. It is the burger out post of Angelo & Maxie's (never eaten at A&M) I recommend you venture over to 19th & Park for a burger & beer pronto.

The have a great burger selection as well as sauce options. The sweet potato fries were yummy and not oily at all. How do they do that? My burger was juicy and definitely hand made. My only complaint would be the pickle. I don't need the pickle but if you are going to put it on my plate make it worthy of eating.

Overall I really enjoyed my experience. It had a nice relaxed atmosphere with an open kitchen in the back. Plenty of tv's-was fortunate to watch the mets, yankees & rangers while eating my yummy dinner and making the bf happy. Service was great as well.

I didn't get to taste the following but here are my thoughts on presentation: calamari--although the sauce looked good they looked really heavy & fried. Mac n Cheese looked scrumptious.

For larger groups they have a super platter for $55 I think of 30 various sliders. Sounds like boys night out to me.

Have you been? What are your thoughts? I don't eat burgers a lot but I'm glad I splurged last night, it was worth it.
