Matisse in new ayers hotel, hawthorne

Anyone been to Matisse in the amazing new Ayers Hotel in Hawthorne yet?..I had my first lunch on weds and the french onion was awesome...what a silky wonderfull stock and gooey guyere cheese. the salad with seared beef strips and cilantro dressing are good as well. I spoke with Sergio the sous chef, he is an Art Inst. grad with a good amount of experience. He told me tthat they will rotate the entire menu every 3 months. I was pretty impressed with it, very upscale and good steak selection.
